A Comfortable Stay

Ikaalinen Spa offers a range of accommodation choices, from luxury hotel rooms to homely apartments.

In the Maininki main building guests are at the centre of everything, with all our services close by - although the services are never far away, as all the other accommodation buildings are situated within close walking distance of the main building.

All of our hotel rooms are well equipped, and our timeshare hotels also have the facilities for self-catering guests. At Ikaalinen Spa we have nearly 2000 beds, making us well equipped to host meetings and events of all sizes. Hotel Highway broadband internet access is available, free of charge, in all of our hotel and conference rooms.

Hotel Maininki Maininki is the main building at the Ikaalinen Spa complex, offering accommodation and most of our services.  Rooms: Maininki has 55 comfortable hotel rooms, with a total of 110 beds. Each room has its own toilet, shower, TV, phone, mini bar and a balcony. We also have rooms for non-smokers, and a suite for disabled guests. The rooms in Hotel Maininki were refurbished in the summer of 2007. Conference Facilities: There are nine conference rooms of varying sizes in the Maininki building, as well as group workshop areas. Our flexible spaces allow us to host functions for groups of any size, from 5 to 700 people. Spa Facilities and Sports Centre: The spa facilities, with tropical pool, water chute, outdoor pool, ‘jacuzzis’, steam room, saunas and children’s pool, are in the Maininki building. The building also houses a bowling alley, an exercise studio and a well-equipped gym, which boasts state-of-the-art equipment for a complete workout. Services: In the main building you will find the hotel reception, the Maininki Shop, and the Maininki Hall. Restaurants include a pub, pizzeria and coffee shops, and there is a playroom for children. Parking is available in the covered car park. All rooms and conference spaces have Hotel Highway broadband internet access.  Location: Maininki is right by the lake, at the heart of the spa complex. A corridor connects to the physical therapy centre, where a wide range of physical rehabilitation treatments are available. Maininki was built in 1990. Hotel Ikaalia Hotel Ikaalia offers classy, modern hotel apartments.  Rooms: Hotel Ikaalia has 76 rooms, including a number of spacious family apartments, and a total of 200 beds. Facilities: Each apartment has a mini bar, toilet, shower, TV, telephone, and a balcony. All our rooms have Hotel Highway broadband internet access. Hotel Ikaalia has its own covered car park. Location: Built in 1991, Hotel Ikaalia is located 300m from the spa centre, next to the access road. Spa Hotel    The Spa Hotel offers comfortable rooms with kitchen facilities, right by the lake. Rooms: The Spa Hotel has 134 apartment style hotel rooms, with a total of 268 beds. The rooms have a mini kitchen, fridge, toilet, shower, television, telephone and a balcony. All our rooms have Hotel Highway broadband internet access. Location: The Spa Hotel is by the lake, approximately 300m from the Maininki main building. A covered walkway connects the Spa Hotel to the Maininki main building and spa facilities. The Spa Hotel was built in 1973. Hotel Terme    Hotel Terme offers comfortable hotel apartments by the lake. Rooms: Terme has 141 apartment style hotel rooms, with a total of 282 beds. There are also 8 suites with great views and own saunas.  The rooms in Terme have a mini kitchen, fridge, toilet, shower, television, telephone and a balcony. All our rooms have Hotel Highway broadband internet access. Other Services: Many of our treatments are available in Terme. The Ruusukas gift shop, selling handicrafts and herbal products, is also in the Terme building. Location: Terme is by the lake, approximately 400m from the Maininki main building. It was built in 1975. Physical Therapy Centre   The Physical Therapy Centre is a modern centre offering physical treatment and rehabilitation services as well as accommodation. Rooms:The Physical Therapy Centre has 59 hotel rooms, with a total of 100 beds. The rooms have a toilet, shower, television and telephone. Some have a balcony. All our rooms have Hotel Highway broadband internet access. Facilities: The Physical Therapy Centre has a treatment department, the Fiikus beauty salon, a hairdresser, health care services and a fitness laboratory. The Centre has its own pool and sauna department for those undergoing physical therapy, as well as a library and a restaurant for functions.Location: The Physical Therapy Centre is by the lake, connected to the Maininki main building and spa facilities via a covered walkway. The Physical Therapy Centre was built in 1965.
